BAJA SAEINDIA 2017
First time competing at BAJA SAE India Main Race. Won 2nd Prize in Cost Category — a landmark debut for Team Vegam.

GKDC — GO KART DESIGN COMPETITION
Designed and built a Formula Go-Kart from scratch. Competed in static and dynamic events showcasing engineering depth and fabrication quality.

ESI ATV RACING CHAMPIONSHIP
Participated in ESI ATV Racing Championship.
2022 – 23
GKDC GOKART COMPETITION · BUDDH CIRCUIT
Team VEGAM from Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore designed and built a GoKart and participated in the sixth GKDC GoKart Competition held at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Team completed all Static events (Technical Inspection, Turning Radius and Brake & Acceleration Test) and all Dynamic events (Auto Cross, Skid Pad and Endurance). Team secured an overall rank of 11.

GKDC SEASON 11 · KARI MOTOR SPEEDWAY
GKDC (Go Kart Design Challenge) is a competition initiated by ISNEE Motorsports to offer students maximum design flexibility and the freedom to express their creativity with few restrictions on overall kart design. The main objective is for students to assume they work for a firm designing, fabricating, testing and demonstrating a prototype kart for the non-professional competition market. Team Vegam participated in GKDC Season 11 conducted by ISNEE Motorsports at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore.
FKDC — SEASON 8
FORMULA KART DESIGN CHALLENGE
FKDC (Formula Kart Design Challenge) is a competition initiated by FMAE (Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers) to offer students maximum design flexibility and the freedom to express their creativity with few restrictions on overall kart design. The main objective is for students to assume they work for a firm designing, fabricating, testing and demonstrating a prototype kart for the non-professional competition market.
Team Vegam participated in FKDC Season 8 conducted by FMAE at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. The 8th FKDC is a national-level competition in which a total of 63 teams registered from all over India. Of these, only 50 teams completed fabrication and cleared in-house technical inspection, and only 45 teams cleared the technical inspection and passed all dynamic tests to qualify for the race. Team secured 8th Position.

SAEISS DDC — DRONE DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGE
First time competing in the SAE India Southern Section Drone Development Challenge. Team Velastra designed and built a fixed-wing drone from scratch and secured AIR 17 in the Overall Category.
